APELL - Volume 4 Issue 3

What seems to be fast becoming an annual event, the general meeting for electing a new executive has been postponed due to lack of participation from the paid membership. In order to elect a new execute there must be at least 39 members in attendance (This year there are 76 paid memberships).

If you do not wish to participate in the association but wish to support it you can give a donation; otherwise we expect to see you at the meetings.

There will always be the danger that we will not be able to book the hall at such short notice, which could add to the rescheduling problems.

The Meeting will be held at the Salle des Loisirs on Saturday September 23rd at 10:30 AM sharp. If not enough people show up by 10:30, the meeting will be postponed again.

On behalf of the executive I would like to thank the few members who did show on the 9th of September.

The executive welcome calls from members, but we would ask they be before 9 PM.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our new sponsors for supporting our assocation, and we invite our members to avail themselves of their services and products whenever the opportunity arises.
