Another Disappointing Meeting
The final meeting of the season that was held on September 10th had a VERY poor turnout. Aside from the remaining executive, only about 9 members showed up. The meeting was held despite the turnout, but with the low numbers, the election could not be held.
Three meetings in 12 months is not asking for very much commitment. The association cannot continue with having to re-schedule meetings due to poor turnout. If people feel that three meetings a year is excessive, then they should voice their opinion at the general meetings.
We ask that everyone show up for a special meeting to take care of elections for 1995. The meeting will be Saturday September 24th at 11:00 AM sharp at the Salle des Loisirs. The leaves should be at their peak, so come up and enjoy the scenery and show your support for the association.
Since this will be Raymonde's last meeting, we will be making a presentation to her to express our thanks for her very hard work and dedication.
